About

I am another you. I am who I am becoming. Yogini, artist, holistic healer, mother, nurturer, lover, sister, aunt, friend, immigrant, photographer, poet, creative soul in a human body, & swimmer. I am in search of healing, justice, beauty, & peace.

I am happiest in nature, making art, practicing and teaching yoga, offering kindness, honoring the humanity in others, supporting healing and wellbeing from the inside out, & sharing the natural healing powers of bio-magnetism, chakra wisdom, yoga, creativity, & mindfulness.

My mission is to hold space for a more creative, inclusive and compassionate world, one person at a time. I support you in your journey to full health in body, mind, and spirit.

Since moving to Kentucky I have been the recipient of several grants from the Kentucky Foundation for Women. I have also received some awards for my photographs and 3D work.

Current Collaborations

For the past few years, I have been exploring creative avenues to pursue activism, art and social justice. Since 2009 I have been collaborating with the Special Project working as an artist-leader with families impacted by incarceration and using the power of art to strengthen families and support quality visitation at the Louisville Metro jail. In 2011, I launched Finding Your Own Voice©, a creativity and mindfulness workshop which continues to have raving reviews. I  am an active member of the Shelby Regional Arts Council SRAC and a co-op artist at Dogwood Gallery in the Blue Gables Shops located at 800 Main Street in Shelbyville, KY.

Past Collaborations

Between 2008 and 2011 I collaborated in the design, and implementation of Change Makers at Jefferson Community and Technical College. Some less recent collaborations include dabbling in film-making, and cultural studies, working as an adjunct professor, diversity specialist, violence prevention instructor, after-school programs director, consultant and facilitator, life coach, and a few other and sometimes overlapping endeavors. In 1992, I co-founded Diversity Consultants LLC. Initially a partnership with Erica Bronstein, we conducted diversity audits, and diversity training. When Erica became a partner at Ibis consulting I kept the company and continued to conduct inclusion and cultural competence training and retreats. In 2014, became Diverse Collaborations LLC.
